Timed flight data is automatically compiled and at the end of each flight uploads via the GSM mobile network to the CloudBaseGA central server. Flight data is retained and re-sent if required until confirmation is received from the server that it has been received and processed.

Flight data is analysed and flight records detailing the Aircraft Registration, Flight ID, Date, Brakes-Off time, Take-off Time, Landing Time, Brakes-On time and Location at end of flight are recorded on the CloudBaseGA Online Platform.

Yes. The AutoLog unit will need to be installed by a licensed engineer, but should take no longer than an hour. We provide installation guidelines and an approved Minor Modification Certificate covering all ELA2 aircraft. Download Installation Guidelines

AutoLog has been operating in over a hundred aircraft and processed in excess of 36,000 flight records in 2023. During this time, a service level of 99.86% was achieved. In the highly unlikely event of a flight record not being uploaded, you can enter the flight recorded manually on the CloudBaseGA Online Platform. 

Times are accurate to +/- 10 seconds.

The CloudBaseGA user web application in addition to an online booking system, also enables registered users and those they authorise to download records for their aircraft via the internet. Formatted Tech Log labels for insertion in Airframe, Engine and Propeller log books may be printed and flights invoiced. Maintenance calculations are always recorded in flight time. Pilots’ invoices may be generated and distributed by e-mail and you can select whether you invoice in "block" or "flight time" dependent on your set up.

An API is available to enable users to interface their own applications to CloudBaseGA flight logs.

Take a look at our Online Calculator and Pricing page. If you expect the aircraft to complete less than 200 flights per annum, the Low Activity option will result in a lower cost annually.

If you expect the aircraft to complete more than 200 flights per annum, the High Activity option will result in a lower cost annually.

However if you would prefer the monthly cost to more directly reflect the level of activity during the month, so that for example if flying is limited by the weather or extended maintenance the monthly cost is minimised, you could choose the Low Activity option and accept a cost higher cost over the full year.

We don't ask for a minimum commitment. However, if you wish to cease payment for and use of the system you must return the equipment supplied to CavOK Ltd. On receipt of the returned equipment we will refund the inital setup and delivery fee charged at time of order. Although, we believe once you get it you will never want to be without it!
